I made a simple Venn diagram to put these into context. Students find this area difficult.

I have tried to illustrate the concept of separation of water molecules rather than breaking covalent bonds when water is heated with a quick and dirty animation. Click on the water boiling.html file and it will run in your browser.

I made a couple of graphics for my own use. Thought I would share them.

Just three diagrams for students to label. I have left the teacher to specify which labels are required. I hope it is of use to somebody , somewhere.
