Students practice Spanish speaking countries and capitals in a fun way! This PowerPoint Jeopardy game contains all 20 official Spanish speaking countries, plus countries and territories where Spanish is still widely spoken, or where there has been significant Spanish influence in the past. They include Puerto Rico, Andorra, Guam, Philippines, and Gibraltar. The 5 categories are North America A, North America B, South America, South America and Africa, and Potpourri. Students click a number under one of the categories and a country will appear. The next click displays the capital city, the point value, and a house that can be clicked to return to the game board. The previously clicked questions are highlighted to show students that they have already been used. There are 2 randomly placed "Sorpresa" slides that double the points of the next conjugation, if answered correctly. This is a no prep activity that can be modified to suit your purposes in your classroom.
Also included are 2 slides that can be printed and given to students to complete while they are in the audience. Each contains a shell of the game board with the categories at the top and the point value in each cell. As participants choose their questions, the students in the audience can write the country and the corresponding capital city.
Instructions for the game are included.
This is great review activity for back to school, the end of the year, or anytime in between!

Students practice irregular verb meanings and conjugations in a fun, interactive way with these games! There are two 32 square board games containing 15 different common Spanish irregular verbs. One board contains Spanish infinitives that students must translate to English, and the other contains Spanish infinitives that students must conjugate based on the subject pronouns provided. Students play in groups of 3 which include 2 players, and 1 moderator with the answer key. Students shake the die, move that number of spaces, say the answer, and see who reaches the end first.

Verbs included are conducir, conocer, dar, decir, estar, hacer, ir, oír, poner, saber, salir, ser, tener, traducir, traer, and venir.
The games can be played when introducing irregular verbs, for back to school review for students with prior Spanish experience, or a fun review before a test.

Students practice descriptive adjectives of people by filling 30 small squares with words that describe themselves. They sketch self portraits in the large box in the center. Challenge your students to fill all 30 squares with Spanish adjectives, or have them use a specified number of squares for words, and the rest for sketches that illustrate the adjectives that they use.

Spanish Winter Olympics - Juegos Olimpicos 2 Emergent Readers - Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing words associated with the winter Olympic games. One booklet contains text and images, the other contains text only so students can sketch and create their own versions of the booklets. Vocabulary words included are medals, torch, spectators, rings, winter, snow, sports, and champions. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Students first read and cut out the booklet that contains text and clip art images. They then sketch and create their own version using the text only template. This download contains 3 different versions of a scene containing a house, 2 birds, clouds and the sun. Each contains a word bank with numbers corresponding to the colors of the various images. While the images are the same on all 3, the colors vary from one scene to the next. You can either use all 3 versions on the same day by distributing a third of each to your students or use them on 3 different occasions so students have the benefit of reviewing the colors over an extended period.

French Easter Prepositions of Location Easter Bunny and Egg
Students fill in the blank with a French preposition for each of the 9 sentences about a bunny's location in relation to an egg or eggs.
A sample answer key is included, but several sentences could have more than one correct answer.

Spanish 50 Classroom Commands and Total Physical Response (TPR) - Get your students moving with this TPR reference that provides 50 affirmative Uds. commands for use in the classroom. Many include one or more nouns that can be used with the verbs to facilitate doing TPR with your students.
