French Greetings Skit / Role Play - Teacher and Student - This is a 12-line greetings skit between a teacher and student. After the two meet, the student asks about another student and leaves to go talk with him/her.

Spanish Thanksgiving Gustar Verbs Sentences and Vocabulary - Included: 1. 10 English to Spanish sentence translations using Thanksgiving/Accion de Gracias holiday food vocabulary words and the verbs gustar, encantar, and odiar. 2. 32 word English to Spanish Thanksgiving vocabulary list. 3. 8 food clip art images for students to identify. This is a 2-person skit between a traveler checking in to a hotel in Spain and the hotel receptionist. Students must respond to typical questions, spell their names, provide their phone numbers, etc. It's short enough for students to memorize in a couple days of practice and utilizes useful, everyday language. Your students will find this role play fun to practice and present! It's also a great speaking activity for a sub lesson. A follow-up translation worksheet is included.

French Sports Cut and Paste / Game Cards / Flashcards - This resource includes 2 pages of different sports images for students to cut and paste, plus 2 pages of corresponding sport words grid pages onto which students past the images that they cut.
Additional ideas for using these materials:
The grid pages can be projected and students can make quick clothing sketches on the Smart Board. These pages can also be printed and used as a quick sketch quiz.
The clothing pictures can be printed and used for individual flashcards or slap-jack cards. Print 2 or more of each and use the cards for playing memory or "go fish".

This is a 32 square board game containing French letters of the alphabet, and the words départ and fin. Students shake the die, move that number of spaces, say the letter in French and see who reaches the end first. Students unable to say the letter must return to the beginning.
The game board can also be projected and used to practice letters, or to play the flyswatter game.

Students practice 30 common ar, er, and ir regular and irregular future tense verb conjugations as they complete this crossword. Irregular verbs are: poner, poder, saber, tener, venir, caber, haber, decir, salir, hacer, valer and querer. Sample regular verbs include: leer, aprender, viajar, pagar, escribir, and abrir.
Students are instructed to:
1. Write the Spanish conjugation next to each clue.
2. Complete the puzzle.
3. Write a future tense conjugation under each of the 6 clip art images.

2 Spanish Twelve Days of Christmas Booklets / Navidad - Each booklet contains 12 pages, 1 for each of the 12 days of Christmas in the song. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Students first cut, assemble and read the Spanish Twelve Days of Christmas Booklet which contains text and illustrations from the traditional 12 Days of Christmas song. They then create their own version using the text only template. Encourage students to share their creations with their classmates and family! The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the 12 Days of Christmas vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures that correspond to the text.
Spanish Winter Olympic Sports Crossword Puzzle and Vocabulary - This activity contains 15 clues for the Winter Olympic sports. Students are instructed to complete the crossword, write Spanish vocabulary words under each picture and also write the Spanish vocabulary word next to each clue so they get lots of practice with each word. 2 Spanish Body Parts Que Te Duele - Me Duele Booklets Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations of several different body parts in pain such as earache, headache, broken arm, broken leg, stomachache, etc. They then create their own version using the text only template. The title page asks Que te duele and each subsequent page responds with Me duele plus a body part. Each booklet contains 12 pages: the title page with 11 additional pages. This item also includes suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the body parts vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.

Spanish Saber and Conocer Human Bingo Game Speaking Activity - Each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes to each of the 16 boxes. The grids contain questions such as, "Sabes patinar en hielo?" or "Conoces la ciudad de Nueva York?" When a student replies yes to a question, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. When a student fills the entire grid, he shouts, "Bingo!" Also included is a follow up worksheet that requires students to write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verb to the third person. Students must also write either saber or conocer under 6 images at the bottom of the paper. This is a good back to school review activity for experienced Spanish students, and is also helpful when learning saber and conocer.
Spanish Greetings Conversation To Put in Order / Greetings Skit - This is an 18-line, 3-person conversation with greetings, introductions, leave takings, plus additional useful language that must be put in order for it to make sense. Additional phrases include te invito, cuántos años tienes, felicitationes, por favor, gracias, de nada, otra vez, vale, and me encanta. The scenario is a meeting of 3 people outside an ice cream parlor. As such, helado, vainilla, chocolate, and fresa are additional vocabulary words used in the dialogue.
The ordering activity can can be completed by students in 2 ways:
1. Simply write the numbers on each rectangle
2. Students can first cut the rectangles and manually put them in order, either on a hard surface, or the pieces can be glued to paper.
Other uses for the activity:
1. After completing the ordering task, students can practice and present the conversation as a 3-person dialogue.
2. The dialogue can be used as a written translation activity.

French Passé Composé Skit - Qu'est-ce que tu as fait la nuit dernière? - This is a 2-person, 16 line skit for practicing the passé composé. Friends are having a phone conversation about what they did recently. French verbs used are être, avoir, acheter, faire, parler, aller, manger, commander, and vomir. This is a skit that students will enjoy practicing and presenting to the class! The skit is copied 2 per page for student practice handouts and a translation activity, and 1 per page with enlarged font for presenting and practicing vocabulary and pronunciation as a class.

This 12 line skit between a doctor and patient utilizes lots of useful, everyday phrases, such as "Let's see", "I'm sorry", and "Help me, please." The skit includes several French commands, and common phrases such as pas du tout and c'est tout. The English translation is included.
