2 Little Red Riding Hood Spanish Booklets - Libritos de Caperucita Roja - Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations of vocabulary associated with the Little Red Riding Hood such as lenador, bosque, galletas, lobo, casa de abuela, etc. They then create their own version using the text only template. Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages. This item also includes suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Spanish Family - Describe 5 Family Members - Students describe a minimum of 5 actual or fictitious family members. They must provide 4 things for each: possessive adjective and family word, introduction of the family member, age and description. There is space on the activity page for students to describe up to 8 people. Students must also write 2 additional sentences about the family; one tells the number in the family and the provides a list of the family members. Both require the use of the verb hay. Sample sentences are provided for all requirements.

Spanish City and Prepositions Quiz or Assignment - This quiz includes: 1. 15 matching of common city vocabulary words such as market, city, library, pool, house, farm and school 2. 3 English to Spanish translations with city vocabulary, prepositions and a conjugation of the verb estar. 3. 15 matching of prepositions of place/prepositional phrases such as next to, under, between and in front of. Students practice Spanish clothing vocabulary, demonstrative adjectives and cuanto cuesta/n with this 15 English to Spanish sentence translation assignment. This activity contains 30 clues for preterit irregular verbs and preterit irregular yo form verbs. The clues are in the form of English past tense verbs that students must translate. They are instructed to: 1. Complete the crossword. 2. Write Spanish infinitives under each picture. 3. Write the Spanish translation next to each clue. Spanish Demonstrative Adjectives and Clothing Worksheet #1 - Included on the worksheet: 15 English to Spanish translations such as that suit (cerca), a rhyme to help students remember demonstrative adjectives usage, and a listing of all demonstrative adjectives. The assignment is copied 2 per page, and there's another page with the answer key.

Students work with partners quizzing each other on the descriptive adjectives of people listed on the "Escaleras" handout. One partner starts at the bottom of the list and asks the other to supply the translation. If correct, they continue up the stairs with new words. As soon as an error is made, partners return to the bottom of the stairs and start over.
