Spanish Family - Describe 5 Family Members - Students describe a minimum of 5 actual or fictitious family members. They must provide 4 things for each: possessive adjective and family word, introduction of the family member, age and description. There is space on the activity page for students to describe up to 8 people. Students must also write 2 additional sentences about the family; one tells the number in the family and the provides a list of the family members. Both require the use of the verb hay. Sample sentences are provided for all requirements.

This activity contains 30 clues for preterit irregular verbs and preterit irregular yo form verbs. The clues are in the form of English past tense verbs that students must translate. They are instructed to: 1. Complete the crossword. 2. Write Spanish infinitives under each picture. 3. Write the Spanish translation next to each clue. The crossword includes common irregular preterit verbs such as ser, estar, ir, hacer, poner, and querer. It also includes irregular yo verbs practicar, pagar, and empezar. Spanish Demonstrative Adjectives and Clothing Worksheet #1 - Included on the worksheet: 15 English to Spanish translations such as that suit (cerca), a rhyme to help students remember demonstrative adjectives usage, and a listing of all demonstrative adjectives. The assignment is copied 2 per page, and there's another page with the answer key.

Students work with partners quizzing each other on the descriptive adjectives of people listed on the "Escaleras" handout. One partner starts at the bottom of the list and asks the other to supply the translation. If correct, they continue up the stairs with new words. As soon as an error is made, partners return to the bottom of the stairs and start over. This list makes a great adjectives study guide and reference since it contains the most common descriptive adjectives of people.

Spanish Weather Word Search Puzzle Worksheet - This activity contains 24 clues for Spanish weather words and phases. Sample words are hace calor, truena, buen tiempo, and tempuratura.
