Thomas currently works in an 11-18 secondary school in southeast England teaching Spanish, French and extracurricular Mandarin Chinese. He has a First Class Honours undergraduate degree from the University of Nottingham in Spanish and Contemporary Chinese Studies (with a Distinction in Spanish), and formally completed his PGCE Secondary in Modern Languages at the University of Cambridge. He has experience teaching in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Hampshire, and has tutored in French and Spanish for both GCSE and A-Level in the UK. Whilst living in eastern China, he tutored in preparation for the IELTS qualification (English) and also volunteered in an English-language learning scheme in a local hospital. He has previously worked as a freelance translator and proof-reader in London working with Spanish, French, Chinese and English.
