An introductory lesson to the topic of glaciation. It investigates the extent of ice coverage during the last ice age and the evidence in the landscape of glaciation. An enquiry approach is taken but the main activity is a more practical map based task which asks students to locate key evidence for past glaciation on an outline map of the British Isles.
