A 19 page booklet that covers the UK Economic World section of AQA 9-1 GCSE Geography Course. Designed to allow the content to be covered quickly and concisely. A great timesaver. The prompts are question based and aim to focus students on what they might be asked in the actual exam.A glossary of ‘Subject Specific Vocabulary’ has also been included. The booklet relies on use of the new Oxford Textbook and has page references throughout to guide students. Great for cover lessons and it has been designed so that individual sections can be used separately in single lessons. Really useful if the course is being delivered by a non specialist as the key words, concepts and assessment objectives are identified throughout. It can easily be used as a flipped learning or homework activity, if students have access to the textbook. PDF version and fully editable Powerpoint versions included.

A set of resources that cover the opportunities and challenges section of the Urban World Course. These are standalone resources that are designed to be used after both city case studies have been taught to help bring out similarities and differences between cities and help students focus on themes. They can be printed off and used as they are or integrated into structured revision. The use of venn diagrams as graphic organisers help students to separate out the key differences but crucially how challenges such as transport provision are actuall very similar. Then students can be asked to turn the generic statements into specifics for revision purposes. Ideal for use at home. These can be successfully used with the specific city knowledge organisers, or their own revision notes but will work well with any textbook / revision guide case study. The resource is fully editable so can easily be adapted to fit into your teaching. All terminology is based on the AQA syllaubus as students can struggle to recognise what ‘challenges’ and 'opportunities actually mean in an exam question.

This resource has been fully updated to be used with the New 2nd Edition 2019 CGP Revision Guides. Revision Guide needed! These are ideal for home learning as they provide a scaffolding for students to produce effective notes and include activities to test understanding. The 12 page booklet covers the Hot Deserts Option of the Living World Unit. This includes characteristics, distribution, adaptations, opportunities, challenges and desertification. Each booklet follows an easy to follow format with activities added to check understanding of subject specific vocabulary and key concepts. Each page links clearly to the revision guide to help structure work. The booklet easily provides 2-4 hours of structured self - supported study. The booklet is provided as a fully editable A4 Portrait formatted Power-point version (much easier to edit than word!) which allows students to complete and submit electronically or a PDF version for easy printing and completion as a booklet. I have also included the original 2016 1st Edition Booklet if you are still using the older Revision Guides.
