This is the THIRD in a 6 part scheme of geography lessons which has been produced to cover the transition in geography from year 6-7, which establishes students understanding of geography and helps them to develop the key skills for success. This THIRD lesson concentrates on locating the school in the context of the city; country; continent and world. It involves locating key places in the world and labeling them on maps; using compass directions and describing locations. Ideal for learning and practising geographical skills. The three slides would need slight adaptation for those schools outside the greater London area. If you download this resource please could you help me by writing a couple of words about whether or not you found it useful to you? Many thanks.
