The whole bundle contains approximately 60 hours of learning.
This bundle contains 14 A level lessons (approximately 22 hours duration) covering the whole of the Mid Tudor Crisis. They have been planned to meet the requirements of either AQA Unit C; OCR Unit 1: The Late Tudors; or EDEXCEL Unit 1B - use the appropriate questions and tasks. This unit can be taught with any supporting A Level officially approved text book, and is a fully resourced; detailed set of lessons which gradually build up to answering the question: ‘Was there a Mid-Tudor Crisis.’
Tasks include individual; paired; group and whole-class tasks, and are varied thus developing the students ability to evaluate both interpretations of history and contemporary source material, both vital for success at A Level. There are regular opportunities for examination-style practice, and the flexibility for individual teachers to add or delete activities/content as appropriate. There are also a number of links to key documentaries to either watch in class (would extend 22 hour duration of unit) or for students to watch at home, to extend learning.
This bundle contains all of the lessons complete with resources to enable you to teach the whole of the first year of the A Level History course. Each power point contains approximately 4/5 hours of learning, and are based on the study required for AQA Unit 1C for history A Level, but can be used for any post 16 study of the Tudors.
No additional lesson planning would be needed for Year 12 - just use the resources and adapt to meet individual needs.

This bundle contain all 17 lessons suitable for teaching either an A Level Breadth Study or a Depth Study on the Reign of Elizabeth I. Each lesson would take approximately 2 hours to deliver and are fully resourced. Any A Level approved textbook would be useful to compliment the lessons. They contain a range of challenging activities and opportunity for students to practice the examination skills essential for success at A Level.
Lesson 15 is a free resource that can be downloaded to enable teachers to preview the style of the lessons.
This unit is also fully suitable to teach higher attaining GCSE students who are studying Elizabeth I and aiming for Level 9.

This unit of work contains 18 lessons created to deliver the ALevelHistory Unit on Civil Rights - focus on African-Americans from 1865-1992. Each lesson is structured in a similar way, and aims to challenge students through the use of varied tasks; opportunities for discussion and research; and evaluation of sources from the period and historians interpretations. Model answers and exam practice run throughout the unit.

This bundle contains 21 lessons for key topic 1 of the A Level unit of work Democracy and Dictatorships in Germany 1919-1963. The establishment and development of the Weimar Republic, 1919-January 1933.
Each lesson is fully resourced and takes an hour to teach. The activities are varied and targeted at fully accessing all assessment objectives for success at A Level. Although a text book is desirable it is not essential, and there is sufficient information within the power points and on the resources to stretch and challenge A Level students.
