Week 1: is just one days work due to inset days, and mainly just getting to know kids activities on first few days. In Week 2 we’ll be diving into the exciting world of numbers and place value! Get ready to count, identify and break down numbers in different ways. Here’s what we’ll be learning: Number Recognition: We’ll learn to identify numbers up to 20, both when we see them written as numerals (like 15) and as words (like fifteen). Counting Objects: Let’s count! We’ll practice counting objects all the way up to 100, building our counting skills and number sense. Counting in Tens: Zoom! Zoom! We’ll learn to count by tens, a super useful skill for understanding place value and larger numbers. Tens and Ones: What are tens and ones? We’ll explore how numbers are made up of groups of tens and ones, like 34 having 3 tens and 4 ones. Partitioning Numbers: Time to break it down! We’ll practice partitioning numbers up to 100 into tens and ones. For example, we’ll learn that 67 can be split into 6 tens and 7 ones. Get ready for a week of number fun!
