This is a lesson plan that I wrote for 12/12/12, but it can be used for any year on 12/12, or it can just be used to try some activities with the number 12.
With this lesson, students will read a short article on the number 12. The article points out how we shape our lives around the number (from clocks and calendars) and includes examples of significant "12s" in history.
Included are two math activities where students perform operations with the number 12 and observe patterns with their answers.
