Eastbury Primary School is a four-form entry school in Barking and Dagenham. We are a fully inclusive school with our own Deaf ARP. Our school is set in a beautiful, modern building with a newly developed forest and outdoor gym. We serve a catchment of wonderful children who have a real enthusiasm for learning.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader and teacher to join our existing, hard-working team in the Deaf ARP.

You will need:
· Qualified teacher status
· Mandatory qualification for Teacher of the Deaf or working towards this
· British Sign Language level 1 or above
· Experience of developing planning and assessment strategies to meet the needs of individual children, with a particular focus on speech and language
· The ability to set clear, developmental learning targets
You will need to:
· Support and lead the Deaf ARP team
· Be committed to providing the best educational opportunities for every child
· Plan, implement and review individualised educational plans
· Be able to engage, motivate and challenge pupils
· Complete and hold annual review meetings
· Contribute to meetings with external specialists
· Build positive relationships with parents
· Work alongside and support other Leaders of Learning across the school

About Eastbury Primary School
Eastbury Primary School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational primary situated in Barking, Essex. It is sponsored by a multi-academy trust called Partnership Learning, which supports a network of seven schools in East London: three primaries, three secondaries and one special school. Eastbury will provide 944 places for students aged 3-11 when fully subscribed.
Eastbury converted to academy status in April 2016.
