About the role
Based in the Food Room, the role entails supporting the classroom teacher to deliver an effective learning experience for all pupils from Kindergarten through to upper Senior students. Before lessons, you will be preparing the environment by setting up clean equipment, and ingredients for a prompt lesson start. During lessons, you will be focussing on supporting students, maintaining safety standards, and managing any incidents promptly. After lessons, you will be resetting the space, cleaning equipment, and preparing for subsequent classes or extracurricular activities. Admin tasks are equally important, involving stock management, placing orders and regular maintenance of equipment and storage areas. These responsibilities, when executed well, not only facilitate a conducive learning atmosphere but also instil in students a sense of discipline and respect for their learning environment.

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• An ability to communicate effectively with parents, children and staff
• Excellent administrative skills
• First Aid Trained (desirable)
• Working with children of a similar age (desirable)
