Our Lady's Abingdon is an independent, co-educational school located just outside Oxford. We have a current opportunity for a committed and motivated Head of Marketing to support the Leadership Team by effectively managing the marketing direction of the school. This is a vital role in driving pupil enrolment and ensuring future, past and present families receive an exceptional experience through the marketing stages of their relationship with OLA.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in marketing with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to think strategically and see initiatives through from start to finish, coupled with a high level of organisational and administrative competency, is essential.

Candidates with experience of working in marketing, social media and/or alumni relations are encouraged to apply.  An understanding of the independent school sector in the UK is beneficial but not essential.

This is a full-time role with the successful applicant working 37.5 hours per week, (reduced to 9.00am-4.00pm outside term-times by agreement), all year round.

Excellent communication skills, able to convey detailed information clearly

Experience of working with website CMS eg Wordpress

Abingdon-on-Thames is an historic, modern market town situated eight miles south of Oxford, with its world renowned reputation as a centre of academic excellence. The town supports a mixed international community and has excellent bus links to Oxford, which is just a 15 minute ride away and provides a wealth of social and cultural opportunities.
