We are seeking to appoint a Head of Year to join our Pastoral Management team, leading and managing the pastoral provision for pupils in Years 5-8.
The role requires the candidate to take a lead responsibility in coordinating appropriate intervention for pupils within Years 5-8 whose attendance, achievement, behaviour or wellbeing is a concern as well as coordinate the delivery of the pastoral curriculum, and liaise with other Heads of Year where necessary, to ensure continuity and progression of pastoral provision throughout the school. The successful candidate will lead and manage the pastoral provision for Years 5-8 pupils. They will be responsible for tracking and monitoring attendance, achievement and the behaviour of pupils within these year groups to ensure that successes are recognised and any underachievement is quickly addressed. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, and staff to create a nurturing and positive environment for our young learners.
