About the role
As the school receptionist you will have strong interpersonal, organisational, and caring skills. As the first point of contact, you will be managing telephone communications with courtesy and professionalism, while also greeting visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanour. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks such as handling deliveries, managing the post, and ensuring messages are relayed promptly to staff and students. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the wellbeing of students, acting as the primary contact for first aid, providing immediate care, and making critical assessments of medical needs. This role is perfect for a vigilant and compassionate individual who can efficiently multitask and respond to the dynamic needs of a school environment.

Who we are looking for:
• Educated to GCSE level with Maths and English A*-C or equivalent
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• IT skills including Microsoft Office & emails
• Caring and compassionate personality
• First Aid Training (desirable)
• Previous experience working in a school environment (desirable)
