The Opportunity?

We are seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Science Technician, primarily to support the Physics team. The role requires you to support our staff and students by providing effective and efficient technical and administrative support within the Department which will enable students to experience and explore practical aspects of the science curriculum.

You will join our large and supportive Science department under the direction of the Subject Lead. You will coordinate the use, development and delivery of practical science resources, ICT resources and facilities, including the provision of guidance and support in meeting the practical requirements of the science curriculum; liaising with all areas of the College and external organisations.

There are many training opportunities available if you are new to science and looking for a new challenge, we also offer the option to support educational visits and extra-curricular activities.

We would be happy to discuss flexibility around working days/hours at the interview.
