A cold educational climate

Isn’t it a sad comment on educational morale in England that two of last week’s letter writers felt the need to remain anonymous? Perhaps the educational climate in any country can be measured by the incidence of such “performance measures”. Would England under education secretary Michael Gove come top of that unenviable international league table?
