GridClub, the educational but fun website for 7 to 11-year-olds, has raked up a hat trick after picking up a BETT award for ICT Beyond the Classroom. The DFES initiative, developed with Channel 4, Oracle and Intuitive Media, has also won the prestigious BAFTA Interactive award for best educational website and an EMMA (Electronic Multimedia Award) for e-learning. Launched at BETT last year, GridClub is popular with over 10,000 visits a week to its 50,000 pages of material and 100 special interest groups.
