MUSIC for Youth has gathered together luminaries from the worlds of politics, music and the arts for a symposium on July 7. Delegates will discuss the importance of music education. Speakers include Education Secretary Charles Clarke and London schools commissioner Tim Brighouse.

The event takes place during the National Festival of Music for Youth at London’s South Bank Centre, where thousands of young musicians will perform.
