The British Educational Communications and Technology Agency wants 50 schools of any type to take part in a study examining the benefits of digital video editing equipment. Helen Walker, head of practice, said the project would measure the potential of ICT to inspire pupil creativity skills through the use of digital video editing. Apple will supply an iMac G3 computer, 10 QuickTime Pro software licences and training to each school in early November. Email dvpilot@becta.org.uk for more information. The deadline for proposals is October 12.
