Teens turn to social work

FROM next September, 18-year-olds can study for a career in social work. Previously, students had to be 20 before they could begin their training. University College Chichester is offering the new degree course in September 2003. During their three-year course students will spend 200 days in academic learning and 200 days in social work practice. Information from Jane James, school of social work studies, tel: 01243 816407.
