You cannot run from the truth about sport

Winning a gold medal for knee-jerk reacting, David Cameron wants primary schools to engage in competitive sports as part of the revised national curriculum (“It’s money, not class, that makes gold medals”, 10 August). Yet his government encourages primaries to become academies and academies are not subject to that curriculum. Shouldn’t he change one or both policies?
