Meet Dunno dog and Cando cat as they explore the curriculum. Here Dunno wants to paint a paint a rainbow but he has a problem - he only has 3 colours Red, Yellow and Blue. Clever Cando comes to the rescue and helps Dunno solve his problem.

<p>This is an old Russian method for long multiplication that uses multiplication and division of numbers by 2.<br /> It takes longer to work out but provides and excellent finish to the long multiplication unit of work and is also a great link to introduce division as your next unit.<br /> Get your students to work out different sums and check with standard method and / or a calculator.
