<p>This scheme contains a half term’s worth of lessons for lexis, semantics, graphology and phonetics and phonology. Every lesson contains material to present along with example answers and mark schemes for both staff and students to use. The whole scheme is geared towards achieving a level 5 for AQA English Language Paper 1 - question 1 as it provides the foundations for language analysis.<br /> There is a mixture of group and individual work and the majority of the PowerPoints are self-contained - this means you can print directly from them as opposed to having separate handouts. Each PowerPoint is accompanied by a detailed lesson plan which takes you through how the lesson might unfold - there is of course scope for teachers to take on the lesson however they wish.</p>

<p>Seventeen lessons are included which cover grammar, discourse and pragmatics with a range of teaching activities, resources, example answers and assessments. This covers 8 weeks of lessons and is one half of the course making it perfect for classes that are split between 2 teachers. The PowerPoint presentations contain the vast amount of resources so everything is as self contained as possible</p>

<p>This unit of work explores attitudes to language change and focuses on the skills needed to establish top marks on paper 2, section A. There are a wide range of theories covered and the students are encouraged to evaluate each one throughout as well as a number of assessments with example answers that have been picked apart. It contains everything a teacher will need to teach for this section of the course.</p>

<p>This scheme covers World English across all of Paper 2 for the AQA specification.<br /> It is largely self contained and has a series of example answers after every activity. There is a skills focus on question 3, paper 2 and an introduction to writing. Please note that this is more likely to take around 14 lessons as it is very detailed.<br /> The starter for lesson 5 is a crossword made from eclipse crosswords - this is free to download and I can send it over to anyone who wants it.<br /> Thanks and enjoy.</p>

Each lesson is relatively self-contained meaning printing is minimal and easy to follow - lesson plans are also contained.<br /> The scheme covers everything you will need to ensure preparation for this section of the course.</p>

<p>This half term’s worth of work covers children’s writing which features on Paper 1, Section B of the AQA English Language A Level. It is worth 30% of the paper and is an excellent choice to make as the majority of students opt for question 4 which is the spoken side of language acquisition. It is largely self contained with step-by-step lesson plans and a range of activities to enable students to achieve top marks.</p>

<p>This scheme of work is a skills-based unit which covers how students can approach section B of paper 2. The topics are varied including gender, world English, regional language etc.<br /> As with all of my schemes, there are lots of example responses and key exam tips. <p>This lesson goes through all of the necessary steps to achieve full marks on Question 3 of Paper 1 of AQA GCSE English Language. It was a lesson for an observation and is fully self-explanatory as you work through the slides</p>

<p>This scheme works well with World English and also as part of social groups.<br /> There are 5 set lessons which are likely to take more like 8 lessons to go through. Like all of my schemes it is self contained with example answers, exam tips and all of the relevant theory needed for language and ethnicity. <p>The slides contain all of the theory required for both spoken and written language acquisition. This forms section B of Paper 1 of the AQA A Level English language specification. Students should use the slides as a revision tool and the blank handout to consider the theory in more detail as a revision aid. Hope you find it useful</p>

<p>The PowerPoint contains all of the gender theory covered in my scheme in summary form with some tasks for the students to complete in order to add their own research. The word document has all of the names of the theories and theorists for the students to summarise and discuss what it reveals which makes it an excellent revision resource.</p>
