<p>A resource pack in French based around St Valentine’s Day for Years 7 to 11. Variety of worksheets (wordsearch/spot the difference) so you have something for each year group every year. There is a cover page for each year group so you could print separate booklets.</p>
<p>I’ve found a typo: amoureuz should be amoureux - apologies! Amusez-vous bien.<br />
I will not be editing this resource any more because:</p>
<p>…this resource has been upgraded. You can find my year-group specific work booklets here: <a href="http://" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.tes.com/resources/search/?authorId=232746&q=Valentine%27s%20Day&shop=Polly_Glott</a></p>
<p>These grow in complexity across the year groups and use language your learners will probably already familiar with as well as Valentine’s vocabulary. This means the booklets are great as an end of half-term or cover resource.</p>
A wordsearch containing a hidden message (shown on second sheet so you may only want to print sheet two for yourself!). I left out the accents in the wordsearch to make it harder. You could ask the class to translate the words and the hidden message. Probably best for higher ability or KS4. For upwards differentiation, use translation or creation of own hidden messages.
Saint Valentin: message secret. A word search with a hidden message. See second page for this (you might not want to print a class set of this page!). Probably suitable for higher ability as you could ask them to do all sorts with it like translating/writing own message etc.
Saint Valentin: Mots Cachés. A straightforward wordsearch with upwards differentiation e.g. translate the words. See also second page for ideas: you may not want to print 30 of these so only print page 1 :)
<p>Looking to love a resource? You’ll definitely love this multi-purpose learning booklet for St. Valentine’s Day in French. 10 French Valentine’s Day activities including a song, poems, word matching, text message reading…a truly engaging work booklet. Learners will be expected to research vocabulary independently to complete tasks, but a list is given to cover Valentine’s Day which includes amour/chocolat/adorer/cœur/chéri(e)/aimer/cupidon/rose/bague/destin/fleurs/rouge/hibou/fête/siècle/célébrer/foncé/clair/colorier/comme tu veux/violet/forme/palome/autres/est mort/devenu(e)/exprimer. That way you can build your learners’ vocabulary by completing the given tasks and also using the vocabulary list for other activities such as Valentine’s cards or display work.</p>
<p>This is a flexible learning booklet for your students to learn vocabulary for Valentine’s Day, building on the Year 7 and 8 work booklets but will work if they haven’t completed those before. A bilingual vocabulary list is included plus extra vocabulary when needed and answer pages where appropriate. Actvities are varied, with a focus on sentence level skills and vocabulary research.</p>

Saint Valentin: Mots cachés. Straightforward word search but with differentiation possibilities including translating the words- see second page. Would make a good starter or introduction to Saint Valentin vocabulary.
