<p>This resource consists of 20 tasks linked to the story, The Sheep-Pig by Dick-King Smith.<br /> These tasks have been used with a higher ability Year 3 group, but could easily be adapted to higher KS1 or any lower KS2 class.<br /> There are:<br /> 6 comprehension tasks, each based on 2 chapters from the book.<br /> 4 oral tasks, focusing on the children’s speaking and listening skills, in order to further enhance their understanding of the book.<br /> 10 written tasks - These focus on singular and plural, use of adjectives, describing settings and characters, rhyming, playscripts and newspapers.</p>
