Place Value Worksheet

Guide age 7 – 11

This is a great resource for helping kids understand place value along a number line.

Jan the Teacher has found some strange rulers in her classroom. Can you help her find the correct places values, so that she can understand them better? Be careful! They get more difficult as they go along!

This worksheet includes an example to help kids work independently. Count along the number lines and find the correct values to put into the boxes. The activity progressively builds up to include decimals, negative numbers and fractions.

The download also includes a character colouring page!

Formula for a straight line y= mx +c worksheet

This is a worksheet designed to help pupils visualise the formula y=mx+c as a straight line. It includes 4 equations to solve and a graph to chart the gradients. Once plotted on the grid the straight lines will cut through letters revealing an anagram to solve at the bottom.

I really struggled to find a resource with a pre-made graph so hopefully this will help.
