Talking Pictures - Discuss works of Art
<p>Get your students to practice their OBSERVATION and DISCUSSION skills with ‘TALKING PICTURES’; individual prompt and discussion cards which focus on a Work of Art.<br />
Each card includes a high quality image of the artwork and key information about the artist.<br />
A series of questions and prompts supports students in practicing and applying their observation and discussion skills about the artwork, its subject matter, style and techniques, and historical context.<br />
No prior knowledge about Art History is necessary for either students or teachers.<br />
The prime objective is to use Art and Artists as a focal point for practicing and applying the skills of OBSERVATION, DISCUSSION and DEBATE.<br />

<p>The educational level of information and questions/prompts is appropriate for Primary years 4-6, and Secondary pre-GCSE level.<br />
All cards are in the PDF format.<br />
