Pupils will be introduced with a scenario their character is faced with: Being stuck in big dark cave. A two part video story resource for KS1 / P1-P4 pupils. A young deer remains beneath the only tree left after the new town is built. So how will it get to the rest of its herd? Part 1 sets the story up and ends by asking the pupils to solve the problem - this may provide a stimulus for various writing/ art activities. Part 2 shows a suggestion of how the young deer’s problem is solved. Resources include a list of lesson suggestions, transcripts of each video and the required links to be able to watch the video.
