NEW 2026 DfE GUIDANCE COMPLIANT (see lesson plan included for details). New lesson with a focus on how we can be responsible with our personal finances and avoid bad debt. Students will recap on key monetary terms (interest, short-term loans, debt, long-term loans, credit score) before investigating different case studies of young people in financial trouble. To arm them for this task, they will first read through a source pack and complete a clip task. Students will then review the advice they gave and then complete the plenary summarizing what they learned today.
The lesson includes a detailed, editable PowerPoint, accompanying worksheets, information pack, clip tasks, analysis tasks, creative tasks, signposting and much more. Suitable for KS3 or KS4. Includes detailed lesson plan.
This lesson is taken from the new EC Publishing Complete 2026 PSHE Package which can be found at the EC Publishing website. Everything is editable and easy to pick up and run with and includes future DfE updates too.
This has been written to cover guidance from the DfE and PSHE Association for PSHE.

This is a comprehensive and interactive PPT with 42 slides on greetings and personal information. The first part goes through the various ways of greetings, both formal and informal.
The second part looks at how to ask and respond to a range of personal information: name, age, phone number, date of birth, where I live and come from, nationality, job, where you work.
It is followed by some practice and a who’s who game with pictures of famous people.
It is suitable for KS3 students but I also found it very useful for KS4 students in preparation for the role-plays, as they often forget how to ask and respond properly to basic questions.

With this fun activity students can work in pairs to practice questions and answers about personal information. Students need to memorize a new identity in order to work with their family as spies. There are 15 facts that they need to remember to answer the questions about this new person they will become. This activity helps them to revise the vocabulary and grammar content about personal information. They can work in pairs or individually (they get both pages 1 and 2 and instead of answering orally they write the answers). It can be adapted for an oral assessment test (students can have the first page and teacher can ask the questions). There are two different identities for the students.
It’s just a list of questions I’ve used with KS3 pupils on the theme of giving personal information. It covers most things! The list is in French only. See my other resources for more tasks to work with these questions.
This English as a Second Language worksheet looks at the ability and ways in which we communicate personal details and information. The aim in to complete a diary using reading, writing and speaking techniques.
