This is the first part of a series of activities to support to support mentoring of students in my year group. It guides students through reflection on current progress / behaviour and target setting. Students can then reflect on progress against targets in coming weeks. Instructions on how to use are in the notes section below each slide.

I use this on a fortnightly/three week basis where the students fill in the worksheet at the beginning of the lesson having read and understood my comments and targets for them. Rather than saying 'I want to learn how to play the guitar', for example, you could change it to 'I want to learn how to play a C major scale without hesitation by the 10th of November' for example.
