Romeo and Juliet- SEN/ Lower P Scales Shakespeare

(10)
This is the PowerPoint I used to make Romeo and Juliet a little more sensory. We did all sorts of task such as decorated the classroom in red and blue, discussed our feelings towards our team mates and people we didn't like. We looked at family members, dancing and everything really! I freely give out my resources. Some feedback would be really appreciated ๐Ÿ˜€

All about recycling - a SEN resource/ lower P scales

A starter PowerPoint presentation to help you on your way to teaching recycling to SEN learners on the lower P Scales. I've adapted this resource from lots of different resources on the internet. We do different tasks at each slide e.g. during the "Can you tap the can like this.." we squeeze and bang cans. When we sing about the basket we pass around a basket of recycling and look into it... I freely give out my resources. Some feedback would be really appreciated ๐Ÿ˜€

The sword in the stone with symbols

I've made up a sensory story for the Sword in the Stone with symbols. Each page has a different action e.g- we will try to pull something when they try to pull the sword out the stone, search for soemthing hidden when Arthur is hidden as a baby. Lots of other acgtivities such as making a sword, crowning someone etc. Hope its of some use to someone- some music would be nice but i don&'t know how to attach them to powerpoints yet! coronation music when Arthur is crowned would be nice!

I borrowed the pictures from another living/ non living activity on here. Thanks :o)

Counting/number recognition

A whiteboard activity that I use to introduce counting in my class. Lots of singing and repitition followed by activities at the workbase such as counting out sweets into a plate, followed by a cut and stick worksheet and basic 1-5 number matching worksheet. My group is very mixed so thats why my learning objectives are so varied!

I teach in the upper school department in a SEND school - pupils aged 16- 18. A mix of learners from pre-entry to upper entry 2. Some questions/ tasks linked to the first 11 chapters of James and the Giant Peach. Pre-entry use symbols and work in very small groups with high levels of support. This is the yellow group. Entry 1 is the green group, small group with basic words expected. Entry 2 is the blue group, full sentences expected and much more independent work, I always share my resources free of charge. Please be kind or move on :)
