Then children have to order coins from the smallest to largest value.<br /> Next theres an opportunity for children to play shopkeeping. They need to identify the what a shopkeeper is and what a customer is before role playing themselves.<br /> Set up a mini shop in the classroom or having items on a table that are labelled with a price. Children enter the shop and then choose something to buy. For example: If the banana costs £1, then the child has to identify the coin which is worth £1 and so on.<br /> Opportunity for New to English children to identify and name different objects in the classroom.</p>
