Dystopia - differentiated & interactive

With nearly 30 years teaching and as a Head of English, Media and Literacy, I pride myself on creating lessons that are challenging, interactive, engaging but also differentiated. So here’s a huge bundle of resources on the theme of Dystopia. I was sick of seeing the same old stuff which never really engaged students so I decided to make my own. So I’ve used Banksy, anime, film trailers and posters as starters with the majority of lessons literature based to raise reading levels. There are at least 25, self-contained,differentiated lessons in this pack with extra extracts at the end to develop your own ideas. Lessons are differentiated with a range of tasks, exemplars, scaffolds, vocabulary choices, sentence starters as well as a range of extension activities. There’s very little photocopying and they’re all self-explanatory so great for a cover lesson.
