<p>A PowerPoint to assist you in giving feedback to your students on their mock exam for Paper 2. It has been designed specifically for the AQA GCSE English Language Paper 2 and can work with any text from any past paper. Alternatively, it can be given out without the last two paragraphs and learners can be asked to write an ending.</p>

Activities included have been designed to help GCSE students revise and practise the language analysis and the creative writing question.<br /> A model answer to the language question has also been included.<br /> There is also a bank of words to assist learners with their vocabulary choices and to make the process of creative writing that much easier.<br /> Ideal for Easter/half-term revision. Can be used for independent study as well.<br /> The lesson has been designed with the AQA GCSE English 8700 specification in mind, however it will work very well with any other UK GCSE English specification regardless of the examining body, as the assessment objectives come from Ofqual and are the same for all UK examining bodies.<br /> You will need to source the extract that goes with the reading task. It is the opening paragraph of The Handmaid’s Tale and should be easily available from the Internet or from your school/college library. I am sorry but I could not include the extract here owing to copyright reasons.</p>
