Interpreting graphs

(25)
Levelled questions on line graphs and block graphs with APP links Gladiator themed In response to people asking for the answers, I found with my class that the children produced a range of readings from the line graphs and therefore would produce a range of answers, all equally correct. I deliberately wanted the activity to be open ended - some children used reading rounded to the nearest ten, an element that I hadn't anticipated.

converting measurements

(1)
APP linked activity where the children were given a sheet to write in decimal measurements, then use place value to convert the measurements. The acitivy was differentiated by the children being given decimal cards to use to fill in their grid. The l.a children had decimal cards to one d.p; the middle cards to 2dp and the tops had a mixture of dp. The tops were also expected to convert their measurements into imperial measurement using a calculator
