This is an excel sheet which I have created and used to generate marking stickers for my classes. This is easier for pupils to read and covers every aspect of feedback like presentation, literacy, content, WWW, EBI etc. You can personalise it add the comments you want / topic being taught etc.

This sheet will help the pupils to peer mark a science investigation. It can be used as a guidance sheet for independent investigation planning as well. It covers every area of a science investigation .

First and foremost I have to give credit to the various websites / publications and authors whose articles I have used to create these texts. I have selected texts from too many sources to be able to name them individually. I have tried to keep the integrity of the article ( keep it whole) but at times I have used only a part (to make it suitable for the year groups). I am offereing these resources FREE as I cannot take credit for them in their entirety. I created these sheet to get the students to think beyond exams, and can be used as an enrichment activity. These are suitable for year 8/9 [pre GCSE ] Created to enable my pupils to get used to answering the 6 mark questions. They cover almost every topic in KS3 science. At the end of my lessons with my GCSE classes, I generally have them answer a past paper question to test their learning and get them used to the language of examination. I find that my students can get bored with just answering past paper questions [and making corrections to their answers], so I do the activity that I have uploaded here. It requires some before hand prep though. You can do this as a whole lesson as well at the end of a topic in form of a revision lesson as well. This resource can be sued as a starter and as aplenary to show progress over the lesson. These are lesson objectives glue-in sheets for students. They have a killer question included. The students get these sheets as soon as they walk in through the door, glue the sheet in their books and start answering the killer question ( 3/5 min max). The teacher then goes through the lesson objectives with the class and delivers the lesson. In the last 5 minutes ask the students to now go back to the killer question and answer the same again ( in a different colour pen) using what they learnt during the lesson.

This can be used to show progress - starter question get students to write the answer and at the end of the lesson as plenary to rewrite it fully to show progress.
