An A3 page on communication in business written for a HR module at GCSE Level.

The task can be used as a homework task, cover task, revision task or as a reading comprehension task if given with a text book (I use the EdExcel GCSE Text book).

The questions included are:
What is communication?
Why do we need to communicate?
Why is effective communication important?
Identify and explain the main barriers to communication?
How can you make sure that communication is effective?
What is meant by information overload?
Illustrate how communication takes place with a flow diagram. Make sure it is clearly labelled.
Describe the effects of poor communication on businesses.
What are the benefits of having effective communication?

Students then have a whole page of notes that they can use to revise from.
