**Ancient Civilizations: Reading Centers Bundle contains eight, 3-stage reading comprehension activities. **

Every reading follows the same process:

In the first stage, students match the ten vocabulary words with their correct definitions.
In the second stage, students read the text, either alone, with a partner or as part of a small reading group.
In the third stage, students answer the 8 multiple-choice questions designed to assess their comprehension of the text.

In order to use this resource multiple times, it is recommended that the text, the assorted vocabulary matches and comprehension question and answer sheets are laminated for durability.
