Top 20 words from the AQA specification (foundation tier) for each ‘mini-theme’ with two printable activities for the students and an answer sheet for the teacher.
I use these mainly with KS4, in the following ways:

• at the start and end of each ‘mini topic’ to show progress
• at the start and end of a particular lesson focusing on these words
• Year 11 revision in the last few months of teaching
• Starters throughout the year (good retrieval practice)
• used for vocabulary tests
• They can be used for higher students also, as they need to know the foundation and higher vocabulary
