This is a bundle of 3 Word documents including a rubric, peer group evaluation form, and board game evaluation form for students to evaluate other groups' board games. The rubric includes a checklist of everything students need to do to complete their project, an outline of group roles, and suggestions for students to consider as they develop their board game. Students are required to create a board game with questions in Spanish - any questions about anything they have learned! They can create their own board game, or borrow the format of another (Monopoly was quite popular). My 8th grade students spent 6 50-minute class periods creating their games and playing them and they had a blast! They used file folders, card stock, construction paper, computer paper, colored pencils, glue, index cards, and lots of creativity! This project could easily be modified for any language or level!
