Breakeven 1 - Cost Revenues and Profit - GCSE/iGCSE Full Lesson

This lesson / resource is for Costs Revenue and Profit with a particular focus on preparing students for the lesson on Breakeven (available here). It has the following learning objectives and been designed GCSE and iGCSE Business Studies.

This is possibly enough for two double lessons (one double for a reasonably advanced group).

Learning objectives/Outcomes:

• Know the difference between fixed costs and variable costs
• Understand how to determine total costs from fixed and variable costs
• Know how to calculate Revenue from Price and Quantity Sold
• Know how Profit is the difference between the total revenue and total costs
• Understand the concept of average costs and how it changes as more is produced

All necessary resources to run the lesson are included in this download and all my lessons are for a double lesson i.e. to take around 1 hour and fifty minutes so they can be separated into two single lessons if required.

The aim of all my resources is to provide lessons / activities of good quality that will add value to your lessons / schemes of work without any extra planning.
