CLARINET basics for the total beginner!
This colourful and original booklet has been created with the total beginner clarinet in mind.
It covers information on reeds, how to assemble the instrument, tonguing, the first 5 notes usually covered in school band, basic sight-reading and some simple melodies (Suo-gân, Clair de la Lune, Hot Cross Buns and Merrily).
The first sight-reading exercise will challenge your young musicians and can be applied in the general music, band and orchestral classrooms. All exercises have play-along videos that can be found for free on YouTube @musictheorymadesimple.
The booklet also comes with useful diagrams for the beginner musician. The tasks can be used as warm up activities, private practice or even playing assessments.
