This resource is a story written specifically for A level Spanish students that brings to life some of the main topics of the main awarding bodies: such as historic heritage, national identity, cyberspace, immigration, art and architecture, unemployment, literature and characterisation. The resource has 7 chapters and an introduction, and each chapter comes with a glossary and comprehension questions and questions about the evolution of the characters throughout the story. The resource aims to give A level Spanish students plenty of opportunity to gain confidence to succeed on their A level exams by using appropriate vocabulary, language and content.

The resource tells the story of a young person who was born and lives in England. Through his father, he learns to have a strong connection with the Basque Country and its mountains, as well as with his ancestors and with his historic heritage. Although at the beginning of the story, the only connection he might have is with technology, as he was hooked on video games, at the end he will learn to connect to his ancestors.
