GCSE Business (9-1) OCR – Business 1 & Business 2
Connection Walls

These two resources can be used as starters, plenaries, or any other time. It can be played in teams or individually (e.g. with mini-whiteboards for full engagement). Each ‘wall’ has 16 business terms – students must sort them into four groups (e.g. four characteristics of a Sole Trader). They are best used once all Business 1 and/or Business 2 topics have been taught. I have used them in my lessons, and even if students don’t correctly guess every connection – it has stimulated some excellent discussions which aid revision.

It is primarily written for the OCR (9-1) course but could easily be used / adapted for other exam boards as it includes most of the usual content for GCSE Business. Both resources are in Microsoft PowerPoint format (so that you can amend them if you wish).

1. Business 1 Connection Wall – 8 walls, covering 32 topics.
2. Business 2 Connection Wall – 6 walls, covering 24 topics.
