Critical Path Analysis CPA - Lesson 1 - Full lesson - AS/A2/IB Diploma Business

This lesson / resource is about Critical Path Analysis with the following learning objectives and been designed for AS/AS/IB Business Studies. This is the first lesson for CPA and focusses on drawing the diagrams with fully worked examples. The second lesson focusses on Float and Total Float and looks at some of the advantages and disadvantages of CPA as a planning tool

Learning objectives/Outcomes:

• Understand the terms associated with Critical Path Analysis
  • Nodes / Activities / Earliest Start Time/ Latest Finish Time / Float / Dummy Activities
• Understand to construct a network diagram
• Know how to find and calculate the Earliest Start Times and the Latest Finishing Time
• Know how to determine the Critical Path

All necessary resources to run the lesson are included in this download and all my lessons are for a double lesson i.e. to take around 1 hour and fifty minutes so they can be separated into two single lessons if required.
