Dali, Lorca and Buñuel: three Spanish cultural icons

In this resource we learn about Dali, Lorca and Buñuel, three icons of Spanish culture, and the friendship they enjoyed during their 20’s.
The 18 slides are visually rich and contain text and tasks. Through them students can practice the use of the preterite tense, saying the years and key vocabulary related to art, poetry and cinema. They will also learn key details about the lives and times of these three big names in Spanish modern culture.

For the final task, students devise cards with multiple choice questions for a quiz about Dali, Lorca and Buñuel, based on what they have learnt. Then, in pairs or groups they ask each other the questions they have written.
