The last lesson in the Crime and Punishment Unit of Work. Students learn about the significance of the Bentley execution by assessing evidence and different points of view regarding the details of the case. An active student led lesson with a range of activities with an extended response question.
Where is the information sheet referred to in the slideshow? Seems a bit of a rip off to be selling a complete lesson and then not having all of the resources included. This work appears to be pitched to KS3 level.

Thanks for your feedback. Can you please check your download because all of the resources are included in the link. The lesson is linked to the Edexcel spec and covers the required knowledge for this case study.

We purchased this resource due to time constraints and were disappointed with the quality compared to cost and would have been happier paying £5 as used only 2 resources.
For teaching and learning, students copying into a table or making a mind map is low level and not an activity we would use. For example, students can be provided with a table of information to think pair and share and then rank.
We did use the character doc for the Bentley case and the policing doc for students to select the 3 most important changes.

I'm really sorry that this resource was not suitable for your group. The idea of the lesson is to encourage students to develop exam skills and explanations by using the examples that they collected (and ranked). The students do not need to copy into a table and can prioritise the evidence cards and simply use these to support their judgments. The resource is priced at £3.50 and it took many hours to create.
