A quick, exam-practice sample assessment containing 20 separate pieces of music, that can be done within one (60’) lesson.

20 QUICK QUESTIONS
1–5: AoS1 Forms and Devices
6–10: AoS2 Music for Ensemble
11–15: AoS3 Film Music
16–20: AoS4 Popular Music
Each question is worth four marks, rather than the usual 12, and contains shorter extracts, each played twice.
The idea is to get as much exam practice done across all four Areas of Study, but within one lesson.
Questions include:
- Dictation
- Comparison
- All the musical elements covered

Extracts include music by Elgar, Saint-Saens, Harry Connick Jr, Billie Holiday, Tiomkin, Rachel Portman, Groove Armada, Duran Duran and Dua Lipa.
This would also work well for Year 10s, as an introduction to exam-style questioning.

A well thought out and formatted set of practice questions that equally useful to use individually or as a practice paper within a single one-hour lesson. Great for Y11 revision or for use with Y10s prior to seeing 'real' exam papers.
